About the book
Perhaps you are toying with the idea of giving up your safe, predictable life and finding a new direction and purpose. Maybe even taking a huge leap into the exciting unknown. If so, are you ready for the high highs and low lows of a breathtaking roller coaster ride? With this book, Christina is by your side. Her life story is intended to encourage you to go on a journey of finding your very own way.
We live in times where women’s intuition and creative potential are more acknowledged than they have ever been in our historically male-dominated world. For many women, the achievement of their dreams and ambitions has become attainable—if only they would trust themselves to take the first steps on their journey of self-realisation and fulfilment. This book demonstrates how Christina's intuition helped her to achieve dreams and goals and led her to where she is now. Christina intended this book to be an antidote to the fear that many of us have - women and men alike - of giving up our possessions and security, even if that security is not making you happy and your possessions are weighing you down. She wants to show that it is possible to change your life in ways that will make you happier in the long run, even if there are hurdles along the way.
LET GO AND MAGIC HAPPENS!

The woman behind the scenes
Meet Christina
Munich-born Christina Dawson has been enthusiastic about creative writing and language since her school days. Remaining true to her love of written expression, she later attended writing workshops and wrote short stories and poems.
"Ich war Putzfrau auf Hawai'i" is her first book.
As a self-confessed ‘globe-meanderess’, she has travelled and lived in several countries. She dared to cross the world to live in Australia, where she eventually became a resident. Since 2012, Christina has lived on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula. In that time, she ran a bed & breakfast beach retreat for which she prepared meals with organically grown food. For several years she also organised a weekly organic market in the town of Willunga, as well as various sustainability focussed festivals.
Presently, Christina expresses her creativity by being a painter of murals and as a holistic chef, growing much of the food she uses in her cooking.
